Service to Others
Trinity Friends: Please help in collecting new or used Bibles for WBGL 91.7 to send overseas to people who have never had a Bible before. It's a great way to spread God's word around the world. I'll place a box in the Narthex and once it's full I'll deliver the Bibles to WBGL's radio station. Thanks so much! Barbara Witte

Eastern Illinois Food Bank is searching for volunteers to help with sorting food collected by the local post offices during their annual United States Postal Carriers' food drive. The food sort takes place May 14-17 (Monday-Thursday), from 6 to 8 pm, at the Eastern Illinois Foodbank, 2405 North Shore Drive, Urbana. You may help for one or more evenings. This is an excellent service opportunity for families and youth groups, but all are welcome! Thrivent Financial for Lutherans is assisting with the costs of this event. RSVPs are required due to the facility's limited space. For more information or to RSVP, contact Rick or Ronda Craig at 359-9230.
Food Pantry: Trinity supplies food to two families a month directed by Empty Tomb. Trinity's Food Pantry is in the need of the following items: peanut butter, crackers, macaroni and cheese, spaghetti, canned fruit, fruit juice, pancake mix, pancake syrup, instant white rice. If anyone of Trinity's members or family members are in the need of food, please let Ken and Mary Jo Rott or a member of the Human Care Board know. We would be glad to help.
